MEDLOG Poti is pleased to announce an opening for Transportation Operations Coordinator's position
General Requirements:
** University or professional school graduate preferable in Business administration.
** Fluent in Georgian, English working proficiency (Oral and Written); Russian is plus
** Minimum 0-2 years of work experience on the same or similar position
** Experience in an international environment and logistics is a plus.
** Good organizational and data collection skills
** Strong attention to detail
** Ability to work with Excel and operational reports
** Good communication and coordination skills
** Ability to work with multiple departments and operational teams
** Basic understanding of transportation, container logistics, and customs documentation
** Ability to work with deadlines and frequently changing operational information
** Georgian is a must, English and Russian is preferable
** Interest in Logistics and Forwarding Industry.
Short Job Description:
1. Documentation Collection and Coordination
** Collect all required transportation and operational documents provided by the Customer Service team for upcoming transportation activities.
** Check that the necessary documentation is available before transportation is planned or started.
** Follow up Customer Service in case of missing documents or information.
2. Customs Documentation
** Ensure that completed customs documents are provided to the relevant responsible persons or departments on time.
** Follow up with expeditors regarding pending or missing customs documents.
3. Daily Fleet and Container Status Update
** Monitor and collect information regarding the current location and status of trucks.
** Every morning, provide Customer Service with an updated report on truck and container movements.
** Report which containers were successfully delivered to customers.
** Report containers that were not delivered and indicate the reason for non-delivery where available.
** Update information regarding containers currently in transit, waiting for customs clearance, waiting for documentation, or pending delivery.
** Coordinate with Fleet team members, Customer Service Department and other relevant parties to ensure that the information is accurate and up to date.
4. Transportation Analysis and Reporting
** Prepare/Update daily, weekly, and monthly reports on completed transportation activities.
** Support the Fleet Manager with operational reports and analytical information.
