MEDLOG Poti is pleased to announce an opening for Accountant’s position.
General Requirements:
** Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent degree in the relevant field is required;
** Professional knowledge of Georgian and English is a must;
** Minimum 3-5 years of work experience on the same or similar position is required;
** Good knowledge of accounting standards and data entry skills;
** MS office skills, advance EXCEL skills;
** Effective Business and Interpersonal communication skills.
** Ability to work independently as well as a team member;
** Interest in Logistics and Forwarding Industry (working experience in this field is an advantage).
Short Job Description:
• Prepare accounting documents (different invoices, delivery -acceptance or comparison acts, etc) and submit them to the relevant parties in timely manner
• Prepare accounting entries in compliance with Georgian Tax legislation in company’s accounting programs on a timely basis
• Prepare and organize pro-forma and final invoices
• Monitor and control accuracy and completeness of invoices issued by invoicing team
• Prepare and upload accounting documents in company’s accounting systems
• Control inventory, Property Plant and Equipment and General and Administrative accounts
• Control the bank transfers/deposits to and from the accountable parties
• Check and control the contract and the documents related to them
• Calculate and process payroll and other administrative cost accounts, including preparing necessary input for personal income tax declarations
• Prepare quarterly reports for National Statistics Office of Georgia
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including uploading the needful information at Revenue Service (www.rs.ge)
• Conduct inventory counts under the supervision of the direct manager once per month
• Meet month-end deadlines in an accurate and timely manner
• Follow-up on audits-Statutory and tax, as needed
• Constantly coordinate with reporting manager and/or other employees from the relevant department
• Prepare different reports for direct and/or other managers she/he is reporting to
